Time and Attendance with WSExact™

Wengert Software Engineering, Inc. (WSE) solves your time and attendance requirements with the WSExact™ Time and Attendance and Labor Tracking system for Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0.

WSExact™ allows workers to "punch" in and out using a network of Intermec 9560 Transaction Managers and a unique personal identification magnetic card or barcode label. In and out times are logged into an InterBase relational database managment system on the WSExact™ server. Later, a user can allocate the times to jobs, tasks and work centers using a Windows, Windows95 or Windows NT client system running the WSExact™ client software. For small applications, the client and server applications can run on a single PC.

WSExact™ can be configured to allow the user to select the job/task/workcenter immediately upon clocking in, or this time allocation can be done later, for example in an engineering company where engineers may work the entire week on only one or two different projects. Moreover, WSExact™ allows a user to specify the meaning of his clock in/out (i.e. beginning work, going to lunch or a break, going on a field service call, going home for the day, returning from a field service call, or returning from lunch or a break).

WSExact™ can also be used to control access to a room, laboratory, floor or building. Access points can be monitored from the WSExact™ server or from an aurthorized WSExact™ client PC.

Because WSExact™ maintains all data in an SQL-92 compliant relational database system, reports can be generated with standard off-the-shelf products such as MS Excel, Corel QuattroPro, etc. In addition, WSExact™ includes many standard reports which can be customized by Wengert Software Engineering to meet your specific requirements. All supplied reports are written using the ReportSmith tool from Borland International, a copy of which is included with the WSExact™ system.

Versions of WSExact™ are available for both English and German.
